Dear Parishioner:
I am writing to ask for your support and participation in the St. Thomas More 200 Club monthly raffle. When the pandemic restrictions are lifted, the monthly raffle will take place at a coffee and donuts social or lemonade on the lawn after the 9:00 AM Mass on the last Sunday of every month. Not only will this program help raise much needed funds, but it will also provide an exciting and social dimension to the aspect of parish support. During the current Covid 19 pandemic, the monthly raffle is conducted privately by the 200 Club Administrative Committee. The 200 Club membership envelope/application form can be mailed to the parish office, 6 Madbury Rd., P.O. Box 620, Durham, NH 03824 or dropped in the collection basket or in one of the drop boxes at the back of the Church or at the entrance to the Catholic Student Center. The 'Club' will operate as follows:
The goal is to have 200 members. The 'Club' is open to everyone; parishioners, friends and relatives, 18 years of age or older.
Each member will be issued a membership number. The assigned numbers/membership listing will be posted in the church hall, in the foyer of the Catholic Student Center and also on the St. Thomas More Parish web page.
Dues payment options are $200 for the year, $100 for 6 months or $50 for 3 months. Payments by cash or check, made out to 'St. Thomas More 200 club' with '200 Club' also indicated on the memo line of the check, can be made by placing them in the completed 'new/renewal membership' envelope/application and mailed to the Parish office, deposited in the collection basket or drop box at the back of the Church or dropped off at the Parish office during office hours. It's never too late to join. Membership for 3, 6 or 12 months is on a rolling monthly basis.
The drawings will be held on the last Sunday of each month. Three prizes; $100, $50 and $25 will be awarded each month. Members need not be present to win. The winners will be announced each month in the bulletin. A full annual membership of 200 will provide for prizes of $1,000, $500 and $250 for the 12th monthly drawing in a year of full membership
