Thanksgiving Basket Drive

We will be distributing Thanksgiving    Day baskets this year and your help is appreciated. Due to the virus, we will be taking the precautions of limiting the number of people who come in contact with the food we will be giving to families, many of whom have high risk individuals. Unfortunately, that means no fresh produce this year. We’d like to give gift cards to buy the produce instead. Also we’ll be buying the non-perishable holiday food in bulk to prevent transfer of disease as well. For these reasons, please consider a cash only donation to help fellow parishioners, food pantry patrons, families in our school district and our own Catholic Charities.

You can drop a check in the donation basket with “Thanksgiving basket” in the memo line or mail it to the office at 6 Madbury Rd Durham. Any amount is greatly appreciated, we will be helping more families than usual this year!  Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE:
For families or individuals who are struggling to put food on the table, we want to help you this fall!  We are taking names for Thanksgiving Day food baskets and everyone at St Thomas More is welcome to ask for this assistance. Confidentiality is taken seriously and will be honored. Please reach out to Bindy Curtis in the office at 868-2666 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
